Great fun great food

The place was fun and loud, the food and menu was quite good, the staff were truly Roman, and the service was attentive.

The calamari was pretty typical and nothing mind blowing. The scallops were nicely seasoned and appropriately cooked…they rested in a flavorful, bread worthy broth. Unfortunately, the Pappardelle al Ragu was a bit flat and under seasoned, but still not bad. I really enjoyed, however, the Mezzi Rigatoni “Braccio di Ferro”…a spinach infused cream sauce, it was great. Both pastas were perfectly al dente. The lamb chops were beautifully presented, appropriately seasoned, and evenly cooked to a nice medium temp…very good. The prosciutto stuffed chicken was also very good from top to bottom…eyes to the mouth. The tiramisu and orange tiramisu were quite enjoyable, but not necessarily super memorable.

Overall, we had an excellent time with friends. We’ll definitely come back soon.
